CONGENITALLY MISSING UPPER LATERALS

A 36 year old patient had missing upper lateral incisor teeth. As these teeth never grew the upper canine teeth drifted forwards and closed the spaces. There was not enough room to fit replacement teeth for the laterals. We decided to regain the space using orthodontics and then restore the lateral teeth with implants and crowns.

 We fitted braces to guide teeth movement and to regain space.

As the spaces appeared, temporary teeth were attached to the braces to hide the gaps.

Implants were inserted to replace the Lateral Teeth. As the spaces were very restricted because of the root angulations of adjacent teeth the implants had to be placed very accurately. See the fantastic surgery in the x rays below.

 

The implants then had all Porcelain (Lava) Crowns placed over them. The patient's smile had been restored

All the procedures were carried out by us on our premises. We are amongst very few practices which are able to do this.

FABULOUS PORCELAIN VENEERS

Porcelain veneers can transform a smile. Eliminate gaps and reshape teeth. This can be done with minimal tooth reduction - far more conservatively than with full crowns.

This lady suffered from a grinding and clenching habit. She had chipped and worn teeth. She was unhappy with the appearance of her smile. The plan was to conservatively place 8 Porcelain Veneers to her front teeth and raise her posterior bite to protect the new veneers.

The veneers were constructed and fitted and we all smiled when we saw the results.

The patient below wanted whiter veneers while still looking looking perfectly natural.

 There are 7 Porcelain Veneers and an all Porcelain Crown (on the upper left lateral tooth)

CHALLENGING ORTHODONTIC CASE

A young girl with severe crowding of her teeth. Treatment was carried out without the removal of any of the permanent teeth.
