New Year’s Eve Celebrations

Sydney Festival runs from 8 January to 26 January and is a celebration of theatre, art, dance and music. Catch a cabaret or watch some theatre, as there is something for everyone, including awe-inspiring illusions with the mentalist.
Welcome the year of the rat with Sydney lunar festival and this year it includes the first-ever Lunar Lanes street party in Haymarket. The Lunar Lanterns are at Circular Quay. Don’t miss seeing the eight 2.5 m high rat sculptures at World Square. Of course, there is the traditional lion dance that is unmissable.
